Falling Leaf Entry
Falling Leaf Entry
Description: A more flashy drop in technique, from the top of the wave the rider drops in directly to either double or drop knee and immediately begins doing continuous 360's all the way down to the jets. Once at the bottom the rider continues to spin uninterrupted as they are pushed back up to the top of the wave. This trick is a great way to get a lot of spins very quickly in Royal Caribbean 360 competitions should you wipe out and is great for adding some relatively basic flair to the start of a trick set.
How To Perform: Drop in to the wave directly to the drop knee or double knee position, immediately initiate an uninterrupted series of 360's as you slide down the wave (do not attempt to arrest your vertical momentum, it is advised if you drop in on the right side of the wave you spin to the left and vise versa for the left side of the wave). Continue to spin as you reach the bottom of the wave and are pushed back up to the top, at the bottom you can also stop your spin and begin spinning the other direction as you are pushed back towards the top of the wave. Once you are nearing the top of the wave finish the trick by stopping backwards and grabbing the wave surface to halt your upward motion.
