Description: A foundational and stylish trick with many permutations. Pushing the board out of the water, grabbing it, and acid dropping back on.
How To Perform: Ride up the wave to build water pressure under your board. When you feel the strongest resistance before flowing back toward the nozzle, use your back foot to push the board forward and up while jumping slightly back to give it room to rocket up. Catch the board with your preferred hand, and perform an acid drop. While learning, it's possible your board will fly out to the side instead of in front due to weaker technique (which is perfectly fine!!!), just be aware of where the board is and will be and you can still pull off the trick.
